Approx. 2.5″ in diameter. Mstera is one of the lacquer miniature making villages along with Palekh, Fedoskino, and Kholui. The unique Mstera style of painting is a distinctive local art that has absorbed the Old Believer icon-painting traditions of the region. It stands out for its peculiar transition of unusually bright and diverse colors.
